Beef Tripe(Mogodu)


 You can make your Beef Tripe in a pot or slow cooker,as it takes a long time to cook. And it doesn't require a lot of stirring,you just put all of your ingredients and it cook's itself. 



Ingredients: 

⏱2 h 45 minutes

-Beef Tripe 

-4 Tbsp Cooking oil

-1 Onion 

-2 Beef cubes/Beef broth

-1 Tbsp Curry powder 

-1 Tsp Cumin

-1 Tsp Corriander

-1 Tsp White pepper 

-1 Tsp Cayenne pepper 

-1 Tsp Smoked paprika

-3L of Hot water/adjust it according to your Tripe it has to cover it.

Instructions 

1.Pour vinegar and salt over the tripe and thoroughly wash it.

2.On a medium heat stove put the tripe and all the ingredients in.

3.Bring the heat back up and add the water or your Beef broth and let it cook.

3.To get more tender bites let it cook on low heat and keep it braising slowly for longer period. 

4.The longer you braise it the thicker the gravy becomes,remove it from heat when it has reached your desired consistency. 

4.Serve hot with any desired side of your choice enjoy.
